Shrink Labeling for The Beverage Industry
Full-body shrink sleeves wrap and conform to a container’s every curve, enabling complete decoration of unusual shapes – from top to bottom and 360 degrees around. The PDC shrink labeler was engineered for high-speed beverage lines that demand high performance with quick changeover. PDC neck banding and full-body shrink labeling systems apply thin gauge (1.25 to 2 mils, 30 to 50 micron) sleeving materials, and are compatible with all petroleum-based and sustainable films, including PVC, PET, PETG, OPS and PLA films.

PDC neck banders apply heat-shrinkable tamper-evident neckbands to juice, water, tea, yogurt beverages and sports drinks.
Engineered for 24/7 service with continuous material web flow that doesn’t pause for cutting, PDC neck banders apply, with exceptional precision and repeatability, 1-3” diameter bands at heights up to 2.375”.
PDC neck banders are single-headed, in-line systems that are production-proven, highly ergonomic, and easy to use. Systems can be supplied with a “Zero-Downtime Splice-on-the-Fly” accumulator unwind stand that eliminates the downtime traditionally required for roll changes. Changing from one product to the next is quick and efficient thanks to PDC’s tool-less changeover feature and motorized height adjustment with pre-set positions.
Like all of our packaging systems, the PDC neck banding and shrink labeling systems use standard, readily available, off-the-shelf components and are available in all stainless steel NEMA-4X construction for wet and wash-down environments.
